Mélange Internationale provides personal chef services, Kitchen Counseling, Pantry Planning, private cooking lessons, we cater private retreats, we plan and organize private social gatherings and we host and cater our signature singles party, Eye Gazing Parties for Select Singles of all ethnicities. (Whew!)
We are using 21st century technology to bring folks back to the 20th century way of eating and entertaining!
At our signature singles party, Eye Gazing Parties for Select Singles, we attract New Yorkers of all colors, ethnicities, nationalities, races, heights and sizes. The goal, to take time come together, laugh, let your hair down and your personality shine thru while you enjoy a fantastic organic home cooked meal in a beautiful setting. How could you not have a great time?
"Cooking, hosting, entertaining and bringing people together, are in my blood. My influences: My mother is a wonderful southern cook and I grew up eating healthy organic meals, before they were in fashon. My Aunties are from the Virgin Islands and those West Indian flavors were a staple in our home. What a wonderful Mélange!
Auntie Titta
Back in the 1950's my Auntie Titta's brownstone in Harlem was "social gathering central"! Auntie Titta's house was a gathering place where folks could relax, meet, enjoy fabulous food, music, play games make friends.
Auntie had a special talent for bringing people together. Couples would come around to get a rest from their kids, hang out with other couples and, introduce their single friends to one another.
Actually, my parents developed a friendship at my Auntie's house playing cards together weekly. Eventually, that friendship turned into a lasting relationship. (My parents celebrated their 50th anniversary Nov. 18, 2007! Auntie Titta's house worked!!)
In the tradition of my Auntie Titta's house I've created Mélange Internationale. I am a Personal Chef, and event planner. I'm committed to providing flavor-filled feasts that encourage good health and positive energy. I believe in a holisitc approach to living, so on our social gatherings schedule page you'll find seminars, parties, classes that will help you enrich your mind, body, belly and spirit.
Mélange guests have created a community at our regular gathering spaces where they have made not only friendships but ...discovered amazing theater companies, web designers, new jobs, apartments, funky NYC areas to explore,unique arts organizations, and more!
Join us in building a international multi-ethnic community filled with joy, laughter, good food, dancing and spirit!"
